necklace. Each of the beads is different, although they all marry
together beautifully thanks to their toning colours. I have added
amethyst discs and beads, along with lots of Hilltribe and sterling
silver.

Lora This set of handmade lampwork glass beads by Shropshire
based glass artist Pamela Purslow completely bowled me over when
I saw them. The colour combination of blue, amber and white is so
effective. So amber nuggets and Lapis Lazuli were natural partners
for Pam's gorgeous beads, along with plenty of sterling silver.

Aurai A very unusual pendant-style necklace, which uses one of Sally Carver's gorgeous artisan-made lampwork glass beads, in a tubular design. It's organic, eathy colours are shot through with an overlay of sterling silver. I have used toning freshwater pearl discs to form the chain, along with tiny sterling silver heishi beads, spacers and swarovski crystals. The necklace is designed to be worn high on the neck, to allow for the long tubular focal beads. Length: 16 inches, with the focal measuring 2.5 inches.

handmade glass beads by Sarah Bedwell in a rich red overlaid with
gold, which are perfectly complemented by Murano glass in rubino

using 23ct gold encased in glass, which I have teamed with gold-lined
Murano beads, swarovski crystals, and liquid silver Heishi beads
in fine quality sterling.

Kir Royale A necklace which features stunning artisan-made lampwork glass
beads by Emma Ralph. The core of the beads look just like the
most bubbly, fizzy water you can possibly imagine, trapped inside
gorgeous amethyst purple glass. Deeper toned purple has then been
used to decorate the surface of these extraordinary beads. I have
combined them with amethyst beads, swarovski crystals, and lots
of textured sterling silver to make this a very special necklace.

Arani Completely unique handcrafted artisan lampwork glass beads by
Shropshire glass artist Pamela Purslow, of Mapleglass, feature
in this dramatic necklace. Pam's beads graduate in colour from
deep burnt orange to golden apricot, so I have added some pretty
faceted Carnelian to tone in with the glass. The Hilltribe silver
spacers echo the lovely scrunchy shape of the beads, and I have
teamed each of Pam's beads with toning swarovski crystals.

Karamea The artisan-made lampwork glass beads in this beautiful necklace
are made by Anna Richards, using dichroic glass, which shimmers
and shines as it catches the light. The beads remind me of the
best quality Abalone shell, both in colour and tone. I have interspersed
Anna's magical beads with Bali Silver and swarovski crystals,
and threaded them onto a very fine sterling silver chain.

Vintage Rose An oh-so delicate focal bead made by Anna Richards, suspended

crystals. It looks great worn at the slightly longer length of
20 inches, reminiscent of the 1920's, but it can easily be made
shorter if you prefer.

Clementine A bracelet featuring artisan-made beads by renowned
glass artist Kandice Seeber, whose work is highly regarded and sought
after. I was very fortunate to aquire a set of Kandice's beads,
and I have used five of them in this piece. I have simply added
intricately worked Indian silver, along with a beautiful Indian
silver clasp.

Land of Green Ginger A celebration of the best of British Artisan glass beadmaking,
featuring the work of Isabelle Anderson, Sally Carver and Emma
Ralph, brought together in a completely unique piece. Although
so different in appearance, the beads are united by the warmest
amber, topaz and soft green hues. Twisted sterling silver tubes
are used to separate the beads, along with co-ordinating swarovski
crystals, all threaded onto a very fine silver chain, and fastened
by an adjustable toggle clasp.

Can-Can! These unique beads by Sally Carver seemed to me to look like little pairs of high-kicking legs, they are quite extraordinary! In subtle tones of greens, browns and a hint of blue, they are teamed with swarovki crystals and pearls, and strung on the very finest sterling silver chain. The length can be adjusted from 17 to 18 inches.

I've used amazing bright orange beads made by Welsh artist Ray Skene,
in combination with equally fiery swarovski crystals, and muted
smoky quartz, with a liberal sprinkling of sterling silver, and
a Hill Tribe silver toggle clasp. Fabulous with that Little Black
Dress!

Blue Remembered Hills Each of these stunning lampwork beads by Isabelle
Anderson is a perfect little landscape in its own right. Imagine
gazing towards the hills at dusk, and that's what you'll conjour
up in your minds' eye every time you wear this necklace. I have
combined Isabelle's unique beads with pale blue freshwater pearls,
czech pressed glass bicone beads, and two different tones of swarovski
crystals, along with sterling silver spacers and clasp.

Fired Earth The unmistakeable work of Wrexham glass artist
Samantha Darnbrough, this long focal bead is richly patterned in
warm earthy-toned glass, full of intriguing detail, lending an almost
marbled effect to the piece. I have used warm coloured black banded
agate, crazy lace agate, and golden shadow swarovski crystals to
highlight the richness of Sam's bead. More detail can be seen in
the skilfully worked Hilltribe Silver spacers and toggle clasp.

The Green Cornfield Delicate shades of green and cream in these lucious
lampwork beads by Caroline Hannon, encased in sparkling clear glass
to magnify the wonderful detail. They are a perfect match for faceted
Prehnite stones, freshwater pearls, and peridot swarovski crystals.
Bali and Hillribe silver spacers complete this stunning necklace,
which has faint reminiscences of the Edwardian era.

Trapped! A true Celtic Colaboration, the focal bead having been made by Cornish artist Tania Grey, and the beautiful organic earth-toned lentil beads by North Wales glassmaker Helen Brodt-Savage. Tan's focal bead consists of swirls of green, ivory and brown glass encased in clear, to give a magnifying effect, and lends real weight to the necklace. The "chain" consists of mossy green czech firepolished crystals, some tiny silver leaf jasper beads, along with sterling and Hill Tribe silver spacers and clasp. Lenth: 18.5".
